Head Softball Coach Tiffany Higgins has announced the signing of three student athletes for the 2013-2014 softball season.

Signing letters of intent for the Storm were Joli Garbers of Central City and Nicole and Rachel Zelinsky, both of North Platte.

“Julie Garbers has a great eye for the ball,” Higgins explained.  “And her athleticism will add a great aspect to the team.”

Higgins said that Nicole and Rachel Zelinsky impressed the coaches with their offensive abilities.

Higgins added that Rachel will start as a pitcher and outfielder, and Nicole will play first base.

“We welcome all three players to the Storm softball program,” Higgins concluded. “We look forward to the positive impacts they will make on the team.”
