This week the Food Service/Hospitality program held a food service competition at James Arthur Vineyard in Raymond.
Friends and family came to enjoy food and wine and help cheer on the students competing in the event.
Over 80 people came voted and participated. From the comments that Food Service/ Hospitality Instructor Rob Epps received, “It was very difficult to chooses between any of the dishes.”
The Contest awarded 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, places.
Elizabeth Kuhn of Hong Kong and Alysia Dahlberg of Omaha earned first place with their Goat Cheese and Caramelized Onion Crostini.
Right behind them with second place was Anna Tschetter of California and Courtney Bulin Lincoln with their Mexican Hot Chocolate Trufle.
And Coming in third place was Hannah Bates of Lincoln and J.J Rodriguez of Lincoln with their Coq Au Vin (Chicken with Red Wine).
