SCC Art Dept are supplying 50 pottery bowls for this annual charity fund raiser scheduled for Friday, March 20.

The fundraiser takes place on Tuesday, March 17, from 11:30 – 1 p.m. at Classic’s restaurant in Beatrice.

Tickets are $25 each and all proceeds go to benefit the Beatrice Backpack Program.

The luncheon will feature a variety of soups from Beatrice restaurants and caterers, and each attendee will receive a pottery bowl crafted by SCC Art Students, BHS Art Students, or other area art students.

One of the most beloved and popular programs offered by Girl Scouts is artVenture. This creative expression, arts education-based leadership program provides girls with the opportunity to collaborate with professional artists to create an original work of art.

These works of art, along with additional pieces donated by professional artists, are then sold at a silent auction from which all proceeds benefit Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska.”
