SCC women went on the road to Curtis on Friday, Nov. 11, to get another win against NCTA with a score of 95-47.
“This was a great team win, ” said Coach Vicki Wooton. “We forced NCTA to 36 turnovers and shot 42 percent from the floor and played pretty good defense.”
Monique Stevens of Wodonga,Victoria, Australia, led the storm with 21 points, and right behind her was Kindrea Poole of Las Vegas, Nev. with 13 points.
Leading the team in rebounding were Brittany Fraser of Las Vegas, Nev , Stevens , and Poole .
As a team, the Lady Storm had 28 assists with Stevens leading with 6, and behind her was Mesha Phillips of Las Vegas, Nev., and Caitlin Madden of Lincoln with 5 each.
The Storm’s next game is at home against Concordia JV Tuesday, Nov.15, at 5 p.m.
