Since 1980, the Santa Cop Auction has been held every year to serve children whose families are in need.
This year the auction will take place at Pershing Auditorium in Lincoln on Sunday, Nov. 17.
Silent auction begins at noon and live auction at 2:30 p.m.
Autographed CD’s, guitars, gifts certificate and a great variety of items will be auctioned.
Toys, clothing and food for children in need are purchased with the money raised at the auctions.
“It’s a great organization,” said President of Lincoln Police Union Charities Lacey Reha. “Last year we raised about 26,000 and helped over 11,000 families.”
