“The Conjuring” is the movie your nightmares will have nightmares about,” is what the trailer says. This is an enticing and truthful catch phrase.
This movie is perfect for the fans of the hair-raising, creepy movie that comes along not so often. There are plenty of jumpy, hands-over-your-face moments throughout the entire movie.
The story follows demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) during the height of their ghostly careers.
After their famous “Amityville horror” case, the Warrens are traveling around giving talks at universities about their paranormal encounters.
During one of their presentations, Carolyn Perron (Lili Taylor), introduces the Warrens to one of the most horrifying entity they have ever encountered.
The entity attached itself to the Perron’s, who have five daughters, and there only hope is Ed and Lorraine.
Movie goers will get trapped in this movie because it isn’t entirely a con.
The real Lorraine Warren is still living today and she has answered what everyone wants to know, “Is it real?”
Her answer: “I think they did a pretty good job.”
