BEATRICE—Coming off of a loss to Cloud County community college, the Storm men’s basketball team was able to bounce back with a convincing 102-59 win over Union College on Thursday night in Beatrice.

Led by 20 points from Snyder Cenecharles and 10 points off the bench from Jarvis Pigue, the Storm was able to overcome some early offensive adversity en route to the blowout win.

“It was great to see the guys rebound after our first loss,” said head coach Joel Wooton.

Union College began the second half on a 6-0 run, cutting the Southeast lead to 14 points, but the offensive ambush that followed greatly contributed to the 43 point win.

The Storm will look to carry its momentum into Saturday’s matchup with York at 7 p.m. in Beatrice.
