Dr. Beth Deinert, co-chair of the Business Administration program on SCC’s Lincoln Campus, said the courses were developed with students’ busy schedules in mind.
“The hybrid allows students to take more classes in a week and can be very convenient for their schedules,” she said.
Deinert discussed other benefits to students.
“All of these courses transfer to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln,” Deinert said. “The accounting and economics courses are core courses in the Business Administration program. Marketing is a core course for the Marketing focus, but it’s also an elective in some of the other focuses.”
Focus areas in SCC’s Business Administration program are Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Information Systems, Insurance/Financial Services, and Marketing.
