BEATRICE—The Southeast Community College Men’s Basketball team fell short against Central-Columbus on Wednesday, Feb. 1. SCC fell to 14-8 on the season with the loss.
“We didn’t play well on either end of the floor,” said head coach Joel Wooton, “which we can’t win if we don’t guard people.”
SCC went into the half trailing Central 38-50. The game ended with Southeast falling to Central 78-98.
Freshman Delquan Thomas of Louisville, Ky., led the Storm with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
