Most people who have been working at the same place for 28 years might say that they are doing the same thing every day.
However, that is certainly not the case for Robin Moore, the new administrative director of institutional research and effectiveness, who has worked for Southeast Community College since July of 1984.
“For all the positions I have held at Southeast Community College, there has always been ways of challenging myself and making my career interesting,” Moore commented. “Even though I may do similar things every day, each situation offers
new challenges and things to assess.”
Her new position is also a brand new position for SCC.
Moore’s office will be handling statistical information and analyzing enrollment data to release to organizations and the public.
Moore graduated from
the University of Nebraska- Lincoln with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. Her first job out of college was working at SCC, and she has worked her way up to where she is today.
She is transferring into her new position after being the dean of students in Milford as well as the director of enrollment for all SCC campuses.
Moore offers a bit of advice for all students: “Whatever position or career path you choose after graduation, give it your full effort because you don’t know what opportunities it might lead to. Every day is like being on a job interview for your next job.”
