LINCOLN – The Lincoln Student Activities Committee hosted Summer Fun Day, on Wednesday, Aug. 19, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Four-hundred and sixty students and employees attended this year’s annual event under the arch.
Hamburgers, chips, and soda were served and purchased with funds from the Student Senate Activities Committee budget.
The dunk tank generated $246 for the Friendship Home, a non-profit organization committed to providing women and children shelter services in Lincoln.

SCC faculty and staff including Campus President Bev Harvey were volunteers for the dunk tank. Other activities included ladder ball, a bean bag toss and a caricature artist.

“It was a good way for employees and students to interact together and have fun,” said Student Activities Coordinator Rachel Mason.

Upcoming activities include an 8-Ball pool tournament, on Wednesday, Sept. 9; Treat Day on Wednesday, Sept. 16; and Relaxation Day, on Monday, Sept. 21.
